Contemporary Romance

Lieutenant Commander Jonah Melo had come planning to surprise his best friend as well as join in with the others as they worked on Kevin and Julie Tom's home. Their house was part of a Wounded Warriors project, and Jonah was looking forward to visiting while helping. What he hadn't planned on was seeing Julie's best friend Alisha. The one woman he hadn't been able to forget, even after all these years.

Alisha Winters was thrilled to get the opportunity to use her skills to help her friends. What she wasn't as thrilled for was seeing Jonah again. She had thought there was a connection, then he was gone. Yes, he was a SEAL, but it wasn't as if there weren't things such as phones, or email. It may have been five years, but she still felt the same impact seeing him now as she had back then.

SEALed With Passion was a reunion romance of two individuals who, quite honestly, never should have parted. I was a bit annoyed with Jonah and his treatment of Alisha all those years ago, although I could understand why he did what he did. I enjoyed the interaction with the other couple, and would be interested to learn if Kevin and Julie have a book.

The Way of the Warrior Anthology supports the Wounded Warrior Project and includes: Hot as Hell by Julie Ann Walker, In Plain Sight by Catherine Mann, Torn by Kate SeRine, War Games by Lea Griffith, Beauty and the Marine by Tina Wainscott, NSDQ by M. L. Buchman, SEALed with Passion by Anne Elizabeth, and Home Fire Inferno by Suzanne Brockmann
