Contemporary Romance

Sometimes it could be a bit disconcerting being a twin, especially when everyone, including your own family, couldn't always tell you apart. And that was how Dexter Winston found himself pretending to be his twin, Hart. Hart needed to focus on training, hoping to be picked by an SBC promoter. Dex simply needed to live in Hart's apartment, keep to himself, and nobody would be the wiser. Should be easy enough to do.

There was something definitely up with Christy Nash's neighbor. Something different. She didn't know what it was, could barely describe it other than a slight altering of mannerisms. That and the fact that he was coming on to her, and that was a distinct change in attitude. Not that she was opposed to this after all, she had been interested in him since he had moved in. Yet it was only now that he reciprocated these feelings.

Now that he seemed different.

Deuces Wild was yet another scintillating, emotional, fun read by Lori Foster. I adored Dex. Only his love for his brother would make him pretend to be Hart, and he had no intention of hurting anyone in the process. Yet once he set eyes on Christy, and her recognition that there was something different about "him", Dex was ensnared. Dex yearned to find a woman who could immediately recognize him from Hart, and surprisingly, even to Dex, Hart had the same dream. I loved Dex and Christy's story - they were perfect for each other. Dex and Hart are wonderful additions to the Winston clan, and I impatiently await Hart's story.

Deuces Wild is a short story in the Double the Pleasure anthology. Also included are The Luck of the Irish by Deirdre Martin, Your Room or Mine? by Jacquie D'Alessandro and Double the Danger by Penny McCall.
