Cooper Cochran had purchased the resort after the death of his wife. He knew some of Phoenix's past, after all, she was a potential employee. However, upon meeting her, Cooper wanted her as more than just his new grounds keeper. She brought out his protective instincts, and awoke a part of him that had been missing since he lost Anna. Although life might be more casual than professional at Cooper's Charm, Cooper never wanted Phoenix to feel pressured. Luckily for him, Phoenix had arrived right when she was ready to also take her own first steps into a new relationship.
Lori Foster introduces readers to her new Summer Resort series with Cooper's Charm. Cooper proves to be a wonderful hero, willing to step back and allow Phoenix the time she needs to heal. I enjoyed their romance, as well as meeting Ridley, Phoenix's sister, and watching as she discovers a romance of her own. I look forward to the next story.
