A Hellion In Her Bed

Hellions of Halstead Hall - Book 2

By Sabrina Jeffries

Historical Romance

A Hellion in Her Bed is the second book in Sabrina Jeffries' The Hellions of Halstead Hall series. Although the story can be read on its own, there has been a connecting mystery that builds as the series progresses. Therefore, it might be best to start with the first story, The Truth About Lord Stoneville.

As a child, Lord Jarret Sharpe had wanted nothing more than to learn everything there was to know about the family brewery, which was to one day be his. As an adult, Jarret simply wanted to live life on his own terms. Living off his earnings from gambling. Instead, his grandmother stepped in and ruined his carefree lifestyle. In fact, she was meddling in the lives of him and all of his siblings. She had declared that they each needed to find a spouse in a year, or she would disinherit them. When Gran falls ill and needs him to run the brewery, he uses his skills to turn the situation to his best advantage.

Annabel Lake was hoping to approach Mrs. Hester Plumtree with a business proposition, she never expects to find one of her infamous grandsons. She desperately needs Plumtree Brewery to agree to the arrangement, and she has absolutely no intention of leaving the fate of her family, and their employees, in his hands. Instead, she decides to leave their fate to a game of chance.

A Hellion in Her Bed is yet another enjoyable romance that will entertain readers from cover from cover. Jarret may appreciate that his older brother had found a happy marriage, but he will do whatever he can to get out from his Gran's ultimatum. He may have agreed to work at the brewery only under extreme conditions, but he has no intention of failing at this endeavor. The man behind the gossip is loyal and dedicated to his family. And, as Annabel quickly learns, he's quite an adept businessman. Luckily for Jarret, if he hadn't been running so hard from his grandmother's demands, he might never have found Annabel, and ultimately, love.
