Short story at the end of Dance With the Devil.

James Cameron Patrick Gallagher was now a Dark-Hunter, but he had been born not even a century earlier of Irish immigrants. He had made his way in the world as a gangster, but had tried to turn his life around after falling for, and marrying, Rosalie.

Then he had been betrayed, killed, and become a Dark-Hunter. Although Rosalie had still lived, she didn't know that he did. He had still honored her, and then mourned her passing.

Now he was in New Orleans, and it is Christmas. It is a time of peace, and acceptance. It is a time for Gallagher to do his duty, and spend time with the others in his world.

A Dark Hunter Christmas is a short story showing the various members of the Dark-Hunter world celebrating the holidays. It is a bit of a teaser to the readers who will, undoubtedly, want a story for Gallagher, but it is obvious that he will need to finish mourning the loss of his love. It was a touching holiday tale, and enjoyable as we see a more relaxed Acheron.
