Paranormal/Vampire Romance

His name was De Vein, Pierce De Vein. He was a Double O'Fang agent in the Vampire Division of P.L.A.S.M.A., Paranormal League Against Social Menace Agency. He was a good agent who got the job done, solo.

Kitty Katt, from the Shifter Division, was well aware of De Vein. Devine De Vein, reputed lover of anyone female. She had absolutely no intention of being his partner, in bed, or at work. Unfortunately, their superiors had other ideas, and Pierce and Kit had a case to crack.

Dr. Gnome was taking the world's gold. He was also using the agents who had tracked him down as lawn ornaments. Pierce and Kit would have to put their antagonism, and mutual attraction, aside in order to crack the case.

I absolutely enjoyed reading Dr. Gnome. I loved the periodic injections of humor, such as the agents' names and Kit's catlike tendencies, and was impressed by how the author still refrained from making the story "campy". The interaction between Pierce and Kit was very entertaining, not only their attraction for one another, but also Pierce's attempts at reining in Kit's impulsive behavior. I adored the characters and the entire concept of the P.L.A.S.M.A. organization and look forward to additional stories.
