But when the directive comes down that a woman needs to be added to the team to be "diverse", Xander knew it would be a catastrophe.
And he was proven right from the moment Khaki Blake walked in and joined his team. Her scent drove him wild as did the thought of any of the men putting their hands on her. Himself included. It was bad enough she had joined their group, but as she was assigned to his team, he was her team leader. She his subordinate. And as if that complication wasn't bad enough, she had just been driven from a department where a workplace romance had soured.
But sometimes, rules, regulations, and what "should bes" take a back seat to werewolf natural instinct.
Wolf Trouble was a fun, sexy addition to Paige Tyler's SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team series. It was truly entertaining to watch as Kahki learned new skills and integrated herself into the team. And poor, poor, Xander, fighting his natural instincts when everything he wanted to do was what he shouldn't. Or at least until he decided to toss out the rule book. Then things really got interesting. I enjoyed Wolf Trouble even more than the first in the series, and although it is obvious that it is a sequel, the storyline is complete and does stand on its own.
